- HP Integrity and ProLiant servers complement each other. Integrity servers best serve the mission critical, database tier while ProLiant servers best serve the application, web tier. Together both deliver an end to end server Converged Infrastructure with consulting, integration, and migration services to provide single point of accountability for the entire environment.

HP plans to continue to qualify on Integrity servers based on the Intel Itanium processor 9100 series new versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and 5 as provided by Red Hat and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 and 11 as provided by SUSE. HP also plans to continue to make available Linux support services for Integrity server customers consistent with Red Hat’s
and SUSE’s
support lifecycles for RHEL and SLES on Itanium architecture. HP is not planning to certify or support any Linux distribution on the new Integrity servers based on the Intel Itanium processor 9300 series. In case of any queries, please contact your HP Account Manager or authorized channel partner.
